Many people use the web as their white pages or phone book just to look up a phone number.
We are finding that many of the calls are non-marketing calls and shouldn't be listened to and maybe they shouldn't be recorded.
We have tried to hide most of our numbers but search engines are pretty good at finding them. We only provide some numbers in the autoresponder.
Our biggest problem is our catalog. We have the number on each page, so they can call if they have any questions. That is the primary number that comes up in the searches. When the call comes in, it is forwarded to the correct number, but the recorder is still on.
We really don't want to have a call gatekeeper deleting non-marketing calls.
Just looking for ideas - From Polices to Procedures.
Arnie, we record all calls and non are deleted in the system as that is not how our product works. If you wish not to record calls on certain numbers you can turn off the recording in the application by editing the “tracking number route”. Please let us know if you have further questions. Thank you
